The IPAG Business School (Institute for Preparation for Administration and Management) is a large private post- baccalaureate French business school founded in 1965 by Jacques Rueff . It holds the EESPIG state label, granting it the qualification of a private higher education establishment of general interest.
IPAG Business School delivers, for its Grande Ecole program, a higher education diploma to Bac + 5 approved by the State and conferring the degree of Master, Bachelors to Bac + 3, and includes five campuses : Paris, Nice, Kunming (China), Los Angeles (United States) and Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
The education provided aims to train executives and business creators. IPAG BS is a member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE) and its Grande Ecole program is EPAS accredited (international accreditation).
IPAG Business School is a private school with the status of association law 1901 . Since 2008, its managing director has been Guillaume Bigot 4 , 12 , 13 , and its board of directors is chaired by Thierry Tron Lozai (replacing François Delachaux). Entrepreneur (general manager of Carré des entrepreneurs and director of 16 companies), he has also had several commitments (chairman of the board of social housing of Val d'Oise, general delegate of MEDEF Hauts-de-Seine from 1990 to 2011, chairman of the Saint Benoît association in Caen or the Oasis home for young girls in Paris).
The fact that this establishment belongs to the private sector explains a significant training cost, despite the importance given very early on to work placements. The newspaper Le Monde thus noted, from the 1990s , that the course includes seventy-two weeks of internship, compared to the eighty-two weeks of training .
