Eligibility

 

You must possess the following credentials in order to be considered* for the Energy Management, M.S. program at New York Tech Vancouver:

  • A four (4)-year Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent degree) in science, applied science or engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Demonstrated English proficiency**
    • The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), preferred. Minimum score of 6.5 overall.
    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Minimum score: 88 on the Internet-based test.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Non-refundable application fee of $50.00 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only .
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents).

Description

Through the Energy Management, M.S., you'll master the latest technologies used in green buildings, power systems, and facility security. You'll learn about the wind energy, advanced batteries, and smart grid systems that are transforming the way we generate and deliver electricity, and conduct state-of-the-art research in our Energy and Green Technologies Lab. You'll work side-by-side faculty who are experts in facilities management, risk assessment, and alternative energy systems.

Highlights

The 3 elective courses can be taken with a combination of technical Energy Management related courses as well as M.B.A. courses, giving students the ability to tailor their studies. The degree offers an applied curriculum with a strong emphasis on student projects.
