Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.

2. Application fee of 200 Euro will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card .

3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.

4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents). Once the tuition fee is paid, University issues Letter of Acceptance and prepares all needed documents for your chosen embassy.

Syllabus

Basics of CAD Introduction to basic CAD techniques used in architectural design. Knowledge, understanding and familiarity with main CAD tools.  Development of practical skills in order to design and visualise simple projects using appropriate computer software.
Basics of Descriptive Geometr Shaping and practicing spatial imagination. Gaining competence of projecting in architecture practice. Working according to schedule.
Building Designing and material properties Acknoleging the student with the basic principles of technical drawing; recognition and selection of building materials. Teaching the recognition of construction elements and systems. Acquainting with the types, properties and scope of using building materials. Presentation of the principles of architectural and construction design for simple building objects. Getting to know the rules of work in a project team.
Polish 1 – level A0 Acquisition of skills at the primary level including real world data with the emphasis on the development of specialized vocabulary and receptive and productive skills in the situations connected to the specific class topics.
Freehand drawing and drafting The aim of the course is to show the basic differences between hand- drawn and technical drawings. Acquainting with the sketch and technical drawing workshop at the work of the architect.
History of Architecture 1 Knowledge of the history of European architecture: the most important buildings, architects, formal styles and their functions and construction systems; capability of stylistic and comparative analysis;
Information Technology Extension of practical abilities of using modern computer tools in winning and distribution of information concerning the general field of education. Acquiring the skills to use basic office software programs. Developing self- learning skills
Introduction to Architecture Design Introduction to artistic, technical and social aspects of architecture design, including context, surrounding and the environment. Developing skills of understanding and proper analyzing elements of existing composition. Developing creativity and spatial imagination. Understanding basic stages of the design: analysis, concept, presentation.
Introduction to Mathematics - basic course Developing knowledge on the subject of Differential Calculus of One Variable Function. Developing knowledge on subject of Differential Calculus of Several Variable Functions. Developing skills in the calculation of derivatives of the functions of one variable. Developing skills in the calculation of Derivatives of Several Variable Functions. Learning to work according to the schedule. Preparation for working according to established priorities.
Introduction to Theories of Architecture The course demonstrates the principles of form, space and order that underlie architectural design. It introduces some of the basic themes and concepts in relation to visual, formal, functional and organizational qualities in architectural design and focuses on their appearance and development in history. The course aims to introduce the vocabulary of architectural creative thought and development of design concepts in their relation to the urban, social and historical context. To provide the student of architecture a foundation in the conception of forms, spatial aspects, compositions and their analysis in buildings. To develop understanding of the basic principles of space and mass, circulation and architectural composition.

Architectural Mock-up Workshops The main aim of the module is to practice presentation of abstract concepts in a most synthetic way, using simple forms and materials; developing imagination; practicing composition of elements.
CAD – Architectural Visualisation(1) Introduction to basic CAD techniques used in architectural visualisation.  Knowledge, understanding and familiarity with main computer tools used for 3d modelling and visualisation. Development of practical skills in order to provide a comprehensive graphic design of a simple projects using properly selected computer software.
Building Technologies I Acknoleging the student with the selected types of construction elements. Teaching how to recognize types of structure loads. Teaching the basics of acoustics and hygrothermal properties. Informing about the continuing development of engineering, explaining the need for lifelong learning to improve their professional and personal competences. Teaching the recognition and construction of selected elements of building structures. Acquainting with the types, properties and scope of application of selected materials construction.
Communication and argumentation techniques I The aim of this course is to provide students with theoretical tools, experience, and ultimately the confidence they need to present a topic in their field of specialization in a clear, logical, and concise way; additionally, Students will learn various strategies for giving, analyzing, and evaluating presentations; furthermore, students will learn about various arguments types and how to use them effectively; finally, students will learn non-verbal communication skills and voice control.
Ecology and Energy Efficient Technologies The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the changes in the environment as a result of anthropogenic activities and the transformation of the climate, as well as with strategies to preserve the ecological balance in the process of building and maintaining architectural structures in harmony with their environment, with respect to the law regulations. The course covers the environmental issues in relationship with water, soil, air, in the rural and urban settings, as well as an overview of the concept of sustainable development in aspects relevant to architecture and civil engineering.
Polish 2 – level A1 Acquisition of skills at the primary level including real world data with the emphasis on the development of specialized vocabulary and receptive and productive skills in the situations connected to the specific class topics.
Foundations of Architecture Design Introduction to architectural composition. Preparing students for conscious and responsible shaping of architectural form. Understanding the importance of architecture in shaping cultural environment. Understanding the meaning of architecture theory and its philosophical basis. Understanding outside conditions and their impact on architecture.
Freehand Drawing and artistic technics The aim of the course is to learn and implement the basics of technical and hand drawing language. The ability to read and understand a variety of architectural drawings, along with the ability to perform the simplest sketches.
History of Architecture 2 Knowledge of the history of European architecture: the most important buildings, architects, formal styles and their functions and construction systems; capability of stylistic and comparative analysis.
Structural Mechanics The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge about the relationships between external forces acting on the structure and the effects of these loads, i.e. deformations and internal forces in the construction. Skills in the field of statics and strength of materials. Presenting measuring methods for inventory. Presenting and practising the rules of measuring and qualities of measuring tools.
