ACADEMICS :
ENGLISH PROFIECIENCY REQUIREMENTS: Duolingo English test: Minimum score of 110 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 120)
TOEFL (Internet Based Test or iBT): 83 (Education and Nursing programs require a total score of 87)
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 6.5 to 7.0 with no sub-score below 6.0 (Education and Nursing programs require an overall score of 7.0)
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Minimum score of 58
CAEL: 70 with no sub-score below 60
1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Application fee of 100$ will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).
The program capitalizes on the faculty's current research expertise which is reflected in four fields. These fields are interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary in nature and require students to rely on both chemistry and biology research methods in order to answer specific research questions.

The primary objective of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Applied Bioscience is to train students to become high-quality researchers at the interface between chemistry and biology. The Faculty of Science, with no traditional departments, exposes students to interdisciplinary research, allowing them to gain experience working successfully within collaborative networks. The graduate programs equip students with a wide array of both practical and conceptual scientific skills that prepare them for leadership roles in the life sciences. These goals are achieved through independent research and rigorous course work. The programs bring together students and faculty from a variety of scientific backgrounds, which further enriches the student learning experience. In addition, in keeping with the university's strategic plan, research is aimed at creating innovations that will improve the lives of Canadians.
