Admission Process

1. Application along with  all the  supporting documents will be processed on the TEN Agent portal. An application fee of $75 will be charged from the student. 
2. Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.
3.After getting the Offer letter(i20) , After accepting the offer Letter , Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents).

Description

Political scientists study the origin, development, and operation of political systems and public policy. Some study the actions of foreign governments, political parties, or revolutionary movements. Others analyze topics such as public opinion, decision making, or the uses of ideology and public policy. They may conduct surveys, analyze election results, review Supreme Court decisions, or actions of legislative bodies, or analyze the content of media articles. Some do academic research, write, or teach. Others work on applied problems for federal agencies, legislative committees, or individual office holders/seekers. Some career titles include lawyer, politician or director of polling and survey projects. What You Need to Apply to SMC

  • Financial Statement: Sponsor's Official Bank Statement to demonstrate you can meet SMC's estimated tuition and living expenses
  • A copy of your passport information and expiration page.
  • Transcripts: Records from the last school attended. If the school was a college, university, or high school within the US, official transcripts must be sent directly from the awarding institution to the International Education Center at SMC. US transcripts must show a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Application Fee: The fee to apply is $75.00 USD and is nonrefundable.
  • Proof of English Proficiency.
  • Essay: Write a personal essay (must be at least 500 words) explaining your reason(s) for applying to Santa Monica College.
