Entry requirement:
An applicant must be 18 years or older (due to alcohol regulations) and have ONE of the following:
a) Year 12 School Certificate or equivalent; or
b) Achieved NCEA Level 3; or
c) A level 4 qualification in hospitality or equivalent; or
d) Work experience of at least two years in a relevant field; or
e) 20 years or older with the right aptitude and skills needed to succeed in the programme.
International learners must also have achieved an English proficiency outcome of an IELTS academic score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or any of the other recognised proficiency outcomes for international students listed in the appendix to the NZQF Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules 2013.
