English Proficiency Requirement

English proficiency can be met by submitting one of the following English proficiency tests:
(Official exam scores must not be more than two years old)

• TOEFL: 52 iBT or 470 paper-based test (IVC institution code is 4773)
• IELTS: 4.5
• iTEP : 3.5
• CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH: 160  (B2 First, C1 Advanced)
• PEARSON: 41
• EIKEN: Grade 2A (Original test score reports are required for the EIKEN test)

1. Application along with  all the  supporting documents will be processed on the The Edu Network portal. An application fee of $54 will be charged from the student. 
2. Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network portal.
3. After accepting the offer, Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network Portal (Ten Agents).

The Communication Studies curriculum emphasizes the ability to speak and perform in front of audiences. Courses teach students the skills required for presenting a speech such as analyzing an audience, listening, and coping with fear. Students will learn how to prepare a speech by researching a topic, analyzing arguments and texts, plus organizing and outlining ideas and themes. Courses offered through the program meet transfer requirements for general education, and they may be applied toward an Associate in Arts degree with a major in Communication Studies.

Step 1: Online Application : Submission of the on-line application does not grant admission to Irvine Valley College for F-1 visa applicants. All F-1 visa applicants must submit additional documentation as outlined below in order to be considered for admission and receive the I-20.

• Transfer Students : RECEIVING THE I-20: The acceptance letter and I-20 will be sent to you by email. US Department of Homeland Security regulations require that I-20s ONLY be sent to students; we are not able to send I-20s to third parties.
