Eligibility

For programs where the language of instruction of English, the language proficiency tests accepted are:

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS): 5.5
    • IELTS for Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan: 6.0 with 1 Band 5.5

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) IBT: 55
  • Cambridge English Language Assessment: 162
  • Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL): 40

For programs where the language of instruction is French, the following standardized tests are accepted:

  • Diplôme approfondi de langue française/Diplôme d’études en langue française (DELF)/(DALF): Levels B1
  • Test d’Évaluation du français adapte pour le Québec (TEFaQ): Levels B1
  • Test de connaissance du français pour le Québec (TCFQ): Levels B1
  • Under the provisions of section 4 of the College Education Regulations concerning the conditions of admission, a person who has received instruction considered sufficient by the college and meets any of the following conditions may be admitted to a program of studies leading to an Attestation of College Studies:

  • The person has interrupted his or her full-time studies or pursued full-time postsecondary studies for at least 2 consecutive terms or 1 school year;
  • The person is covered by an agreement entered into between the college and an employer or by a government program of studies;
  • The person has interrupted his or her full-time studies for one term and pursued full-time postsecondary studies for one term; or
  • The person holds a Secondary School Vocational Diploma.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.

2. Non-refundable application fee of $50.00 and Admission fee of $200.00 ($250.00)($250 after offer letter (to be paid within 10-14 days))

will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only.

3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.

4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents)

 

Syllabus

Overview of Term 1

During this term you'll learn: Doing workplace research, tasks and responsibilities related to the database analyst function, analyzing and solving simple problems using basic algorithms, determining error correction strategies, and using debugging tools. You will also learn how to use mathematics applied to solving computer problems. To do this, you will learn to recognize and process the representations of numbers, to represent geometric figures in two dimensions through equations, to model logical reasoning, and to process quantitative data. You'll also learn how to analyze data models, data management system specifications, and to formulate specific queries. Finally, you will learn how to prepare and organize computers, peripherals, and components for different operating systems to ensure their efficiency in performing the tasks required for analysis and database management.

Overview of Term 2

In this term you will learn to use spreadsheets and office tools to produce reports and represent data in tables and graphs. You'll also learn how to program and use databases to their full potential, as well as learn how to analyze, model, and produce algorithms to program instructions and responses to solve a problem. Finally, you will learn how to prepare automation tools that allow information to be massively synchronized from one source to another.

Overview of Term 3

During this term you will learn: To interpret data in order to formulate prognostics and hypotheses related to future trends and the effects of behaviors and events. You will also learn how to analyze baseline data (products, customers, accountants, etc.) to produce reports to prevent and predict change for the company. You will also learn how to carry out information security prevention activities such as risk analysis and the application of recognized measures (access rights strategies, safeguarding, use of cryptography utilities, authentications, etc.). Finally, you'll learn how to write, test, and execute automation scripts for different operating systems for recurring network management tasks.

Overview of Term 4

During this term you'll learn how to produce charts, graphs, and diagrams to visualize data collected using specialized tools and office suites, and facilitate business decision-making. You'll also learn how to plan the logic of data exchanges between apps, browsers or connected objects, how to use databases, how to program a test application, how to provide quality control, how to deploy the solution or service while keeping a clear and useful log or tracking documentation. Finally, you will learn the attitudes and skills needed to facilitate your integration into the IT job market, how to introduce yourself, and how to develop your own network.

Overview of Term 5

In this final term, you will learn: To establish professional relationships with clients and users through your attitudes and behaviors, to work and integrate into an interdisciplinary team, and to understand your ethical and legal responsibilities as a professional analyst. You will have the opportunity, through a 330h internship, to integrate all the learnings made during your program.
