Language requirements: Level B2 by CEFR
Academic requirements: MSc degree in a relevant field or Doctor of Medicine/Dentistry/Pharmacy degrees; acceptance by a supervisor and a doctoral school (including a preliminary research proposal signed by the supervisor and the head of the school)
Step 1. Application along with all the supporting documents will be processed on the TEN portal. An application fee of USD $150 will be charged from the student .
Step 2: An entrance examination is compulsory for students applying to the following programs: BMC, Medicine, Dentistry ,Pharmacy.
Please note that no entrance exam is required when applying to the non-medical Master or PhD programs of the University of Debrecen, since applicants of these programs are accepted on the basis of their Bachelor/Master diplomas, transcripts and research plans.
Step 3 . Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.(on the basis of their Previous Studies or conducted interview in case of Medical Program.)
After getting the Offer letter and After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).

The goal of the Doctoral School of Neuroscience is to offer an excellent niche for neuroscience research where PhD students and supervisors can work together in the most efficient way. The school aims at providing the most modern neuroscience facilities and state of the art research in the field of basic and clinical neurosciences. The subjects studied range from the molecular biology of neurally active molecules, through cellular and network neuroscience, to human brain imaging. The wide range of PhD courses, international workshops and symposia help the students getting off to a productive start in their early research career. The broad array of scientists from other disciplines support to develop skills in complementary fields. The Doctoral School established in 2009 currently has 58 PhD students and more than 30 academics.
