Language requirements: English language proficiency (CEFR level B2 , assessed at the entrance interview)
Academic requirements: BSc degree with completed studies in the fields of: mathematics (6 credits), informatics (6 credits), physics (4 credits), chemistry (20 credits) and biology (60 credits) + entrance interview.
Step 1. Application along with all the supporting documents will be processed on the TEN portal. An application fee of USD $150 will be charged from the student .
Step 2: An entrance examination is compulsory for students applying to the following programs: BMC, Medicine, Dentistry ,Pharmacy.
Please note that no entrance exam is required when applying to the non-medical Master or PhD programs of the University of Debrecen, since applicants of these programs are accepted on the basis of their Bachelor/Master diplomas, transcripts and research plans.
Step 3 . Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.(on the basis of their Previous Studies or conducted interview in case of Medical Program.)
After getting the Offer letter and After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).

The MSc in molecular biology program aims to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of and practical skills in the field of molecular biology. This includes application of molecular biology techniques; a general knowledge of the molecular biology methods; ability to alter and modulate genes; a practical approach to scientific problems in multidisciplinary teams with an emphasis on medicine-related projects; understanding of the genomic data; planning and performing genetical modifications; setting up and testing recombinant expression systems for medicinal or industrial purposes; translation of laboratory results to clinical practice; obtaining, preserving, and evaluating genetic material; and the ability to test and establish personalized medicine-based approaches. The students can specialize in the fields of biochemistry and genomics.
