ii. A pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with minimum CGPA of 2.0 or pass in STPM with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any 2 subjects and a credit in the following subjects at SPM Level or its equivalent: a. Additional Mathematics; or b. Mathematics and one of Science, Technology or Engineering subject
Note: Candidates for category (i) need to take Mathematics reinforcement subjects with topics relevant to Computer Science and Software Engineering at the beginning of their studies.
Students are required to pass the Mathematics reinforcement subject as a prerequisite before being allowed to take the related core course. However, this provision does not prevent students from pursuing other courses either core or non-core that do not require the Mathematics reinforcement subject.
Credit for Mathematics subjects is an additional credit to the core subject and may be considered for the purpose of graduate credit.
The requirements of the Mathematics reinforcement subject may be excluded if the Matriculation or Foundation program or its equivalent offers Mathematics subjects and the achievement is equivalent to / higher than the credit requirements of the Additional Mathematics subject at SPM level.
OR
ii. A pass in STPM in Science Stream or equivalent with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in one of Mathematics subjects and one of Science / ICT subjects; OR
iii. A Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.5;
OR
iv. Any other Diploma in science and technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.50.
Note: For the candidate in category (iii) or (iv) with CGPA below 2.50 but more than 2.00 can be admitted subjected to rigorous internal assessment.

This programme is designed to provide high-quality undergraduate education to the students with the objective of preparing them for prolific careers and providing graduate training in the area of IT.
