i) Possesses a SPM with at least THREE credits and a pass in Mathematics or its equivalent; OR
ii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/ Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or its equivalent; OR
iii) A pass in Skill Certificate at Level 3 (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, SKM) in related fields and possesses a SPM with a minimum of 1 credit; OR
iv) A recognised Certificate (Level 3, MQF) or equivalent in MIF or related fields; OR
v) Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government. AND
vi) A Pass in the Arabic language (for Muamalat and Halal Management programme).
Note:
i) Requirement a pass in Mathematics at SPM level of candidate (i) may be waived if the candidate has a Mathematic subject with equivalent / higher achievement.
ii) For Muamalat and Halal Management program, candidates who do not pass the Arabic language at the SPM level or equivalent, they need to undergo the Arabic language reinforcement at early in their studies
iii) This Arabic language reinforcement subject is also applicable to candidates in Islamic Economics, Islamic Finance and Muamalat programs except for students who are studying Arabic at SPM level or equivalent / higher.
iv) Students are required to pass the Arabic language reinforcement course as a prerequisite before pursuing a relevant core course. Therefore, this provision does not prevent students from pursuing other courses either core or non-core that do not require the Arabic language reinforcement subject.
v) Credit for Arabic language reinforcement courses is an additional credit to the program and may be considered for graduation credit rating purposes.
