Description

Engineering is a multi-faceted profession that incorporates elements of design, analysis and project management. You will use science to solve real-world problems and create the things we see around us every day. You will study pure sciences like physics, math and chemistry along with a wealth of dedicated engineering courses, focusing on practical application of the knowledge gained along the way.

Be Inspired

Acadia is part of a single integrated engineering faculty in Nova Scotia shared between seven small universities. You will typically study two (or possibly three) years at Acadia's Ivan Curry School of Engineering before finishing your studies on the Sexton campus of Dalhousie University. Starting at Acadia has all the advantages of a small school (personal attention from faculty, small class sizes, excellent access to sports/recreational facilities, etc.) while still retaining full access to all programs and options of a major engineering program. Acadia’s smaller classes give students a stronger lab/tutorial experience with more opportunities for hands-on design project work than would be possible in a larger program.
