The SHMS Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS) is a hospitality management school situated in Caux and Leysin in Switzerland. SHMS has been created in 1992 and has 30 years of experience in the education sector. It trains students whose goals are to obtain managerial careers in the hotel and hospitality industries. The school offers various programs other than the basic bachelor's degree BA (Hons) in International Hospitality Management, including Postgraduate and Master's programs. SHMS was ranked in the top 4 institutions for hospitality management in the 2021 QS ranking.
SHMS is based at the Caux-Palace, which was the largest hotel in its day. Built on the Caux Mount by the Swiss architect Eugène Jost, it was inaugurated on 7 July 1902. Built in 1902, the Caux Palace was one of the most advanced, luxurious, and biggest hotels ever designed in Switzerland.
