This interdisciplinary major prepares students to examine problems at the interface of physics and chemistry. Professionals with training in chemical physics work in diverse fields such as chemical engineering, nanotechnology, physical chemistry, or materials science - fields which require an understanding of a broad range of chemical systems ranging from atomic collisions to complex materials.
