Skyline College's Paralegal Program is ABA approved. The Paralegal, Legal Assistant Associate degree and Paralegal, Legal Assistant certificate programs prepare students for careers as paralegals, legal assistants, and other positions in the legal support field.
Certification Eligibility Requirements: Paralegal Studies Program. In adherence with the American Bar Association's Guidelines for the Approval of Paralegal Education Programs, to earn a Certificate or an Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies, all students must take at least ten semester credits of legal specialty courses through traditional classroom instruction at Skyline College. This requirement applies to all students, including those seeking to transfer credits from another institution.
