With a balance between taught sessions and self-directed enquiry, the curriculum reflects the bespoke nature of learning within the discipline of Fine Art encouraging you to identify and develop your own practice through material and conceptual investigation. Our Fine Art course is characterised by a profound synergy between academic and technical teaching and learning. In this community students and staff work together to understand and develop what contemporary art can or should be today. Teaching in Fine Art takes the form of one-to-one tutorials in the studio, seminars, artist’s talks, lectures, critiques, academic and technical workshops and study visits.
