Eligibility

International students
For enrolment you must submit:
– a High school diploma confirming 12 years of schooling, recognized through a “Declaration of Value (DV)” of the Italian Consulate or the two comparability and authenticity certificates issued by CIMEA; Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence affiliated with RUFA.
– official translation of the qualifications and the transcripts (if it is not in Italian or English)
– a certificate stating that you have passed the proof of academic suitability exam, if required to be admitted to Universities in your Country (Selectividad, YKS etc.), or achieved the results required to access higher education studies in Italy (APs, A levels etc.);
– a certificate stating that you have an adequate level of Italian or English (depending on the language in which the course it taught);
– for Non-EU students: study visa required to attend the Academic programs (to be requested through Universitaly);
– Students must send a copy of their residence permit/residence permit request to the International students office within 8 working days from arriving in Italy.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network Portal.

2. Non-refundable application fee of € 180.00 will be charged from the student.

3.Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network Portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.

4. Admission interview - All international students must take the admission exam.Once they register, students will receive an email with further information regarding the procedures of the admission test.

5. After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network Portal.

Description

Before entering the job market you will gain an in-depth knowledge of contemporary plastic arts. Contemporary and classical studies, the analyses of aesthetic principles, the search for a perfect balance between form and substance: these are the key elements of the course and the first step towards the future of a sculptor.

 

The art of making solid objects. Sculpture comes from combining plasticity with technique. It is an art linked to space and the tangible expression of the sculptor’s vision of the world. Contemporary and classical studies, analysis of aesthetic canons, research into the fine balance between form and substance: these are the technical and theoretical pillars of the course which supports students in their first step towards a future as contemporary artists. RUFA Sculpture and installations graduates enter the job market with a thorough knowledge of plastic arts, performances, installations. They can also play a key role in the creation of exhibition spaces or in upgrading public spaces in the urban design sector. Working with traditional as well as new materials and improving the quality of spaces are the natural outcomes for RUFA Sculpture and installations graduates. Thanks to their education graduates are also suited for interesting job opportunities in the more conceptual areas of the profession such as curating exhibitions and art catalogues. The subjects studied at RUFA are part of an all-round education that focuses on figurative and plastic aspects, within a study plan that also includes art history, graphic design, drawing, photography, and audiovisual techniques. Together they form a complete and highly specialised professional.
