Eligibility

International students
For enrolment you must submit:
– a High school diploma confirming 12 years of schooling, recognized through a “Declaration of Value (DV)” of the Italian Consulate or the two comparability and authenticity certificates issued by CIMEA; Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence affiliated with RUFA.
– official translation of the qualifications and the transcripts (if it is not in Italian or English)
– a certificate stating that you have passed the proof of academic suitability exam, if required to be admitted to Universities in your Country (Selectividad, YKS etc.), or achieved the results required to access higher education studies in Italy (APs, A levels etc.);
– a certificate stating that you have an adequate level of Italian or English (depending on the language in which the course it taught);
– for Non-EU students: study visa required to attend the Academic programs (to be requested through Universitaly);
– Students must send a copy of their residence permit/residence permit request to the International students office within 8 working days from arriving in Italy.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network Portal.

2. Non-refundable application fee of € 180.00 will be charged from the student.

3.Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network Portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.

4. Admission interview - All international students must take the admission exam.Once they register, students will receive an email with further information regarding the procedures of the admission test.

5. After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network Portal.

Description

Authorial point of view.

You will perfect your theoretical and practical training by studying specific subjects such as cinema, set design, photography, editing, sound engineering, multimedia products, phenomenology of images and sociology of contemporary art.

 

Film made of content and experimentation.
Film is a world made up of many different forms of expression, each one born out of the necessity to communicate a vision. By using experimentation and research one can give life to new stories. In order to tell them RUFA has created the two-year Master of Arts in Film Arts, conceived  to combine in a single program the talent and storytelling capacity, writing and vision of students who have completed a BA in Arts or Design.

Film Arts high value training.
The two-year Master of Arts in Film Arts at RUFA is part of the Department of Projects and Applied Arts, the section of RUFA academic studies that provides a high-level of specialization and technical preparation, setting high academic and design standards year after year.

The two-year Master of Arts in Film Arts is equally divided between theoretical teaching and hands-on workshops, between artistic vision and technical guidance, between knowledge of film history and experimentation and technological research.

Once young RUFA filmmakers enter the job market, the technological expertise that they have acquired make them capable of producing audiovisual projects in every sector of the communication and entertainment industry including advertising, video art, documentary, web and television.
