International students
For enrolment you must submit:
– a High school diploma confirming 12 years of schooling, recognized through a “Declaration of Value (DV)” of the Italian Consulate or the two comparability and authenticity certificates issued by CIMEA; Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalence affiliated with RUFA.
– official translation of the qualifications and the transcripts (if it is not in Italian or English)
– a certificate stating that you have passed the proof of academic suitability exam, if required to be admitted to Universities in your Country (Selectividad, YKS etc.), or achieved the results required to access higher education studies in Italy (APs, A levels etc.);
– a certificate stating that you have an adequate level of Italian or English (depending on the language in which the course it taught);
– for Non-EU students: study visa required to attend the Academic programs (to be requested through Universitaly);
– Students must send a copy of their residence permit/residence permit request to the International students office within 8 working days from arriving in Italy.

2. Non-refundable application fee of € 180.00 will be charged from the student.
3.Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network Portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4. Admission interview - All international students must take the admission exam.Once they register, students will receive an email with further information regarding the procedures of the admission test.
5. After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network Portal.

The MA in Set Design is an opportunity for students with an artistic and creative personality, in search of a professional environment, to express their visual and design talent, and to receive a highly specialized training.

Set Design is the noble art of creating the stage, the technique of designing the space and the lighting around the action, the narration, and the magic of imagination.
A fundamental profession that is essential to the successful outcome of any performance, including theatre, opera, film, television, concerts, set up preparation and exhibits.
The Set designer designs and creates using lights, materials, textiles, architecture, woodwork, 3D modelling, furnishings, finishes, decorations and costumes.
Becoming a stage or set designer opens the doors to a large selection of professional opportunities from working in the world of show business, to art and creative direction, and to the activities of interior designers and decorators.

The MA in Set Design provides students with a high-level of specialized technical and design training achieved during their studies with solid and constantly updated learning opportunities such as professional collaboration, internships, and workshops with national key players of the set design scene.
The two-year course in Set Design is part of the Department of Design and Applied Arts, the section of RUFA academic studies that provides a high-level of specialization and technical preparation, setting high standards of academic and design education each year.
By graduating in Set design you will be able to become: Set designers, Interior designers, Costume designers, Lighting designers, Stage technicians, Stage Design Directors.
