To be admitted to California State University San Marcos (CSU), applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
High school: Applicants must have a completed high school diploma or secondary degree
Academic Percentage: Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in Academic.
English proficiency: Applicants must meet the minimum required English proficiency
IELTS Academic - 5.5 overall with a minimum 5.5 in each skill
PTE - 50 overall with a minimum 50 in each skill
TOEFL Ibt - 61 overall with a minimum 15 in each skill
Step 1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network portal.
Step 2. The student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network portal. After accepting the offer a Fee invoice will be generated on the student account.
Step 3. After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and the fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network portal (Ten Agents).

CSU San Marcos offers a program of courses leading to a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Biochemistry focuses on the atomic and molecular level principles of chemical reactions in living systems. It is involved with elucidating the structure and function of biological molecules that control the basic processes in living organisms. It therefore plays an important role in understanding the chemical causes of disease, the development of medicines to control and cure illnesses, and the development of safe food supplies. Biochemistry majors are needed to help solve some of society’s most difficult technological problems through research, development, and teaching.
With suitable choice of electives, this degree meets certification requirements of the American Chemical Society.
