Transfer Students:
- If you have completed any college or university-level courses, you are required to present an official transcript from each college/university attended.
- If you have studied at a college/university outside of the U.S., you must submit an evaluation of credits from an approved international credential evaluation.
- Academic records are reviewed based on a minimum 2.6 (4.0 system) cumulative grade point average (GPA) having a minimum of 12 transferable credits for transfer. Requirements may be higher if you are planning to enroll in certain academic programs.
If you have attended another college or university, you need to request that official transcripts be sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at High Point University.
International students living in countries where is it documented that English is the official language of the country do not have to take an English language proficiency test. International students who have completed 2 years or more in a USA high school located in the USA do not have to submit an English language proficiency test.

1. Application along with all the supporting documents will be processed on the TEN Agent portal. An application fee of $50 will be charged from the student.
2. Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.
3.After getting the Offer letter(i20) , After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is an accelerated teacher licensure program that is designed for candidates who already hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. The 45-hour program of study includes an initial 36-hour sequence of courses in 21st Century teaching and learning, technology, and methodology which culminates in a capstone student teaching internship experience. During PHASE I of the program post-baccalaureate courses allow candidates to complete the requirements for an initial N.C. teaching license in Elementary Education K-6, including student teaching. At the completion of PHASE I and the candidate’s passing scores on the Praxis II Specialty Examination in Elementary Education, the individual is eligible for the “A” (initial) N.C. teaching license. Should the individual choose not to proceed to PHASE II, he/she has completed the requirements for the initial teaching license in Elementary Education K-6 only.
