The Bachelor of Games and Interactivity focuses on the role of games in contemporary society and how games are developing as a cultural industry. You'll undertake a range of projects which focus on analog and digital games, and develop practical and creative research and communication skills in a games lab environment.
The course recognises the increasing convergence of games and other forms of media by complementing a core set of games-specific studies with units drawn from the wider field of media and communications.
Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through our Work Integrated Learning programs, which are a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees and can include placements, internships or industry-linked projects. In this degree, in the units Games and Interactivity Project 1 and 2 (GAM30002 and GAM30003), you’ll work in the collaborative gaming workspace, The Arcade, and team up to create a game that you’ll showcase at PAX Australia with the aim of releasing it to the public.
