The Bachelor of Film and Television (Honours) teaches you how to make narrative films, documentaries, animations, experimental films, music videos and television commercials.
You'll gain the essential creative skills, technical knowledge and theory to make high-quality cinema, television and digital media productions. You'll be able to use state-of-the-art workstations; a purpose-built green screen room; interactive pen displays; high-end still, video and film cameras; and render farms.
Build up your CV with real industry experience while you study through our Work Integrated Learning programs, which are a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees and can include placements, internships or industry-linked projects. In this degree, in units Major Project: Production (FTV40010) and Major Project: Post-Production and Distribution (FTV40011), you’ll produce a film in consultation with industry that replicates real-world film production.
Graduates may explore a career in scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, editing or sound design with the opportunity to work in film production companies, post-production facilities and freelance production roles within the film and television industry.
