Description

The Master of Financial Technologies develops expertise in rapid technological changes and their relevance to financial services. It focuses on specialised and applied knowledge of emerging financial technologies and the opportunities and challenges for financial service providers and FinTech start-ups. There is a focus on areas such as the frontiers in FinTech, strategic application and commercialisation of blockchain, business analytics, artificial intelligence and applied projects. The course design also allows the choice of electives to complete a specialisation in areas such as finance, project management, information systems and business analytics.

The Master of Financial Technologies forms the third stage in a three-stage nested suite of programs consisting of:

^ Students are unable to enrol directly into the Graduate Diploma of Financial Technologies but it is available as an exit award.

^ Students must complete 6 core units and 2 elective units to be eligible for the Graduate Diploma.

This course is for working professionals. That’s why we offer it in Intensive Mode. It’s an efficient and faster way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on your professional and personal life. Units (subjects) are either delivered after work hours or on Fridays or Saturdays, and run throughout the year in six week teaching periods instead of the usual 12 week semesters. This means you can complete more units and graduate faster, or take breaks when you need to.
