Accepted Scores as Proof of English Language Proficiency
For admission to Riverside City College, international students must demonstrate English language skills through one of the following test scores/certificates.

The following international students are exempt from the language proficiency requirement:
1. Application along with all the supporting documents will be processed on the TEN Agent portal. An application fee of $100 will be charged from the student.
2. Students will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.
3. After accepting the offer, Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).

This program prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills for joining and cutting metallic materials. This includes instruction in SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW welding processes; oxyacetylene and plasma cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Includes, welding metallurgy, structural welding safety, and applicable codes and standards. These skills prepare students for the following careers: iron worker trade, steel worker trade, construction trades, pile driver trades, and glazing trades.
