International Students
Note to international students: I-20s or F-1 transfers will not be issued since it is an online program. However, for In-person international students, I-20s or F-1 will be issued.
1. Application along with all the supporting documents will be processed on the "The Edu Network" portal. An application fee of $30 will be charged from the student.
College will Check your Application Status to ensure we have received all required documents to evaluate your application.
2. Once academically accepted to FIU, you will request an I-20 from the Center for Global Engagement. You will need to submit the required information to request the I-20.

The Moss Department of Construction Management at FIU is the prime resource for construction management education, training and technology development in the United States. Skilled construction managers who plan, coordinate, budget and supervise construction projects from early development to completion are in demand. The field is expected to grow 10 percent by 2028, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Part of FIU’s College of Engineering and Computing, the Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure, and Sustainability boasts the largest construction management graduate program in Florida. The Moss Department of Construction Management at FIU is committed to being the preeminent center for the advancement and dissemination of construction knowledge. The school fulfills its mission by imparting knowledge of the construction management process through expansion, excellent teaching, promoting public and university service, discovering new knowledge and solving problems through research and fostering creativity.
The master’s degree is rapidly becoming the entry-level requirement for middle and upper-level managerial positions in the construction industry. The primary goal of this program is to provide the knowledge and advanced skills essential for success in these positions. The program is flexible enough to accommodate graduates from other disciplines who may lack a part of the undergraduate background in construction management.
Our school has achieved extraordinary growth in research in the last 10 years. The faculty has submitted proposals to a broad spectrum of funding agencies, such as the National Science Foundation, the Building Construction Industry Advisory Committee, the State of Florida Department of Education, the Center For Indoor Air Research, the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, the Florida High Technology and Industry Council, the Florida Department of Transportation, and the US Air Force.
The Master of Science in Construction Management (MSCM) program is housed within the Moss School of Construction, Infrastructure and Sustainability at the College of Engineering and Computing in the Construction Management Department. The MSCM degree is entirely focused on advancing your skills and knowledge in Construction Management and thus preparing you for future jobs in the Construction field (with expertise particularly in Managing Construction Projects). The program strives to prepare you for your next position in the field of Construction Management, and our graduates have been very successful in landing their dream jobs in Construction.
