To be admitted to Ara Institute of Canterbury, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
High school: Applicants must have a completed high school diploma or secondary degree
Academic Percentage: Applicants must have a minimum of 75 Percentage in Academic.
English proficiency: Applicants must meet the minimum required English proficiency
IELTS Academic- 6 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill
PTE - 50 overall with a minimum of 42 in each skill
Step 1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network portal.
Step 2. The student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network portal. After accepting the offer a Fee invoice will be generated on the student account.
Step 3. After getting the fee invoice, students can pay the fee and the fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network portal (Ten Agents).

Businesses in the 21st Century are wanting more data analytics and evaluation of business intelligence. This specialisation will equip you with sound business knowledge and management expertise, and the ability to work with business information systems and strategies to grow any enterprise.
In your first year you’ll develop a depth of business knowledge and skills required for any commercial context. This includes skills in management, leadership, accounting, marketing, HR, law, economics and sustainability, as well as knowledge of Treaty of Waitangi/Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Then across your second and third years you’ll dive into business information where you’ll learn methods for profiling key information on the internet and consider the value of social media for internal and external communications. Other areas of study include applied computing, advanced business analysis essentials, and the latest techniques for management of information and communication technologies. We also connect you with our industry partners to put this knowledge to use in the real world on a relevant project.
