Eligibility

To be admitted to Ara Institute of Canterbury,  applicants must meet the following academic requirements: 

  • High school: Applicants must have a completed high school diploma or secondary degree

  • Academic  Percentage: Applicants must have a minimum of 75 Percentage  in Academic.

  • English proficiency: Applicants must meet the minimum required English proficiency 

              IELTS Academic-   6 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill 

              PTE                     -  50 overall with a minimum of 42 in each skill 

          

Admission Process

Step 1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network portal.

Step 2. The student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network portal. After accepting the offer a Fee invoice will be generated on the student account.

Step 3. After getting the fee invoice, students can pay the fee and the fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network portal (Ten Agents).

Description

Some of the areas covered include: metabolic processes and how nutrients in food affect the human body; application of nutritional science to enhance the health of community groups; effects of major nutrition-related factors on non-communicable diseases that impact on the health of nations; identification of reliable sources of up-to-date nutritional information; communication of nutrition principles in a range of contexts using awareness of psychological, cultural and environmental influences on eating behaviour; genetics, physiology, culture, environment and social issues that assist in the management of body composition and nutrition choices.

Work placements with governmental and non-governmental health promotion organisations, nutrition education programmes, nutrition consultancies, community initiatives, workplace wellbeing programmes and school holiday programmes will give you real-world experience and ensure you’re work-ready when you graduate.
