To be admitted to Ara Institute of Canterbury, applicants must meet the following academic requirements:
High school: Applicants must have a completed high school diploma or secondary degree
Academic Percentage: Applicants must have a minimum of 75 Percentage in Academic.
English proficiency: Applicants must meet the minimum required English proficiency
IELTS Academic- 6 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each skill
PTE - 50 overall with a minimum of 42 in each skill
Step 1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on The Edu Network portal.
Step 2. The student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his The Edu Network portal. After accepting the offer a Fee invoice will be generated on the student account.
Step 3. After getting the fee invoice, students can pay the fee and the fee receipt can be found on The Edu Network portal (Ten Agents).

This programme will equip you with the essential knowledge and skills required to enter the architectural field as a technician working on domestic and commercial building projects.
You'll learn how to produce working drawings and documentation for small and medium scale projects that meet with the requirements of New Zealand legislation, codes of practice and New Zealand and Australian standards. The emphasis is on building technology, sound construction detailing and communication.
