Eligibility

Admission requirements vary by program but, at a minimum, most CapU programs require successful completion of:

  • B.C. secondary school (Grade 12) or equivalent (B.C. Adult Dogwood Graduation Diploma or General Education Diploma). International students: See International Secondary School Equivalencies (pdf).
  • A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses.

Once you are admitted, you may need to pass the English Diagnostic Test if you are taking English 100, or the Math Placement Test to gain admission to certain entry-level Math courses.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Non-refundable application fee of $135 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only .
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents)'.

Description

The two-year, full-time Costuming for Stage & Screen Diploma teaches students the technical and creative aspects of costuming for theatre and film.

You'll learn costume history, textiles, wardrobe management and cutting and construction techniques. You'll gain hands-on experience working on campus theatre productions and student film projects.

Our grads are well-qualified for entry-level positions in motion picture and theatre costuming departments.
