Eligibility

You must be 18 years old to do your practicum.

 For the best chance of success, you should have a strong understanding of math and physics. If you need a refresher, Lakeland offers [pre-engineering mathematics and applied mechanics].

If you plan to go on to higher classifications, for example 2nd year of the heavy oil power engineering (HOPE) program, you must have Physics 20. Physics 30 is strongly recommended, but isn't a requirement.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Non-refundable application fee of CAD $90 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only .
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents)
 

Description

Take your first step toward becoming a power engineer with our online 4th class power engineering certificate.

Part A and Part B are each 15-weeks long, plus you’ll do a practicum placement.

When you're done, you're prepared to challenge the provincial certification exam.
