Description

Gear up for an exhilarating career with our nationally recognized firefighter training program.

Our program will put you on the front lines of municipal or industrial firefighting. Our curriculum exceeds the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1001 requirements. It’s also certified by the Canadian Armed Forces. This means you can use a portion of your education towards a military career.

Your hands-on training takes place at the most comprehensive, state-of-the-art training grounds in Canada. Learn more about the Emergency Training Centre (ETC), look at our [field props] and take a virtual ETC tour.

Beyond fighting structure fires, you'll gain extensive hands-on skills in:

  • dangerous goods response
  • vehicle extrication
  • wildland fires

Mental health resilience and resume writing are additional courses.
