Students will complete all of the 90 credits (3 years) required for entrance into the undergraduate MD program at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
Our curriculum weaves together courses tailored to rural medicine with courses recommended for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Extra training in skills such as conflict resolution, small business training and MCAT preparation strengthen students' medical school application and will support their futures as physicians. Practical applications are offered through service-learning components.
All university transfer courses articulate with transferability to other post-secondary institutions. Students who either leave the program or wish to pursue other career options will have accumulated credit towards a degree in another field.
