As a physical therapist, you have the power to help people heal and live healthier, more active lives. This program allows you to begin your education focused on your career goals, so you’ll be well prepared to start treating patients on the first day of your new career.
In this professional pathway, you have the opportunity to earn a combined Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from MCPHS in six years instead of the traditional seven. You'll spend the first three years at MCPHS - Boston before transitioning to MCPHS - Worcester where you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts in our advanced laboratories and through a wide range of clinical experiences both on and off campus. You’ll learn how to diagnose and treat a wide variety of patients, assess their outcomes, and provide evidence of effectiveness. When you graduate, you’ll be eligible to sit for the PT licensing examination and begin your rewarding career.
