Admission To A Post Graduate Certificate Program (1 year)
• Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 55% or higher and university transcripts, with 6 or fewer retakes for a 3 year bachelor, and 8 or fewer retakes for a 4+ year bachelor. There can be no more than 3 retakes for any one subject.
• Diploma or Provisional Certificate for proof of graduation
• English Proficiency requirements are as follows for consideration:
1. Academic IELTS with an overall minimum score of 6.5 (with no single test score below 6.0)
1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Application fee of $95 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal (Ten Agents).

In this program, you build on your pre-existing business skills, financial knowledge and professional experience. You are introduced to financial products and services and financial advising. You learn how to create and present financial plans. As well, you practise collecting and analyzing client information and providing financial advice based on that information.
You also participate in experiential and simulated workplace learning. This gives you the opportunity to practise your skills and knowledge in a realistic financial services workplace context.
Algonquin College collaborates with The Canadian Institute of Financial Planning (CIFP) to offer the Financial Services Graduate Certificate Program, which meets FP Canada`s Core and Advanced Curriculum educational requirements leading to the Qualified Associate Financial Planner® (QAFP)® designation and the Certified Financial Planner© (CFP)©. In addition, Algonquin College collaborates with the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI®) to offer the Canadian Securities Course® (CSC®),leading to the CSC® credential.
