The program will provide students with all of the educational requirements to challenge FP Canada's Qualified Associate Financial Planning Designation (QAFP).Successful students will have the prerequisites to challenge licensing examinations to trade securities, buy and sell mutual funds and sell life insurance in Canada. This progressive course of study combines courses designed at Conestoga with those originating from industry standard setting organizations to prepare students for career opportunities in banking, insurance, private wealth, brokerage and/or independent practice. The advanced diploma program continues to offer FP advanced curriculum but does not satisfy the degree requirement (effective January 2020).
