Eligibility

  • A two- or three-year diploma or a degree from an accredited college or university in a related field OR a minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years of related full-time formal work experience
  • Applicants possessing degrees/diplomas from institutions where the language of instruction was not English will be required to provide test scores as evidence of their English language proficiency. Test scores, if required, would be a minimum of TOEFL iBT 88; IELTS 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0; CAEL 70 with no sub-test band scores less than 60; PTE Academic 58; Conestoga English Language Test (CELT) Band 6; or equivalent scores in other recognized standard tests of English.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Non-refundable application fee of $100 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only .
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents)'.

Description

Conestoga College’s Event Management program is a one-year, full-time graduate certificate program that is specifically designed to meet the needs of a growing industry in the planning and management of virtual and live in-person events.The program provides graduate students with specialized training and practical hands-on learning opportunities. Students will develop a portfolio of event experience while collaborating with community partners designing, developing, promoting, and executing events in the public, non-profit, and corporate sectors.Students will utilize project management systems and technological applications; they will apply traditional, virtual, and social marketing tools.
