Eligibility

  • A two- or three-year diploma or a degree from an accredited college or university in a related field OR a minimum of three to five (3 to 5) years of related full-time formal work experience
  • Applicants possessing degrees/diplomas from institutions where the language of instruction was not English will be required to provide test scores as evidence of their English language proficiency. Test scores, if required, would be a minimum of TOEFL iBT 88; IELTS 6.5 with no bands less than 6.0; CAEL 70 with no sub-test band scores less than 60; PTE Academic 58; Conestoga English Language Test (CELT) Band 6; or equivalent scores in other recognized standard tests of English.

Admission Process

1. Application along with supporting documents will be processed on TEN Agent portal.
2. Non-refundable application fee of $100 will be charged from the student and it will be paid by credit card only .
3. Student will receive the admission offer either conditional or unconditional on his TEN Agent portal.After accepting the offer Fee invoice will be generated on student account.
4.After getting the fee invoice student can pay the fee and fee receipt can be found on TEN Portal  (Ten Agents)'.

Description

This unique two-year graduate certificate program is geared to experienced internationally educated nurses holding a four-year bachelor's degree in nursing. The program will support you in acquiring essential nursing knowledge and skills required to practice within the Canadian healthcare system, with a focus on caring for seniors throughout the continuum of care. You will learn from experienced nursing faculty in active learning environments such as state-of-the-art nursing laboratories and immersive simulation suites. Emphasis is placed on development of professional practices including nursing assessment, intervention, care planning, and critical inquiry and evidence-informed decision making. The program is developed based on the College of Nurses of Ontario professional standards and entry to practice competencies for Registered Nurses.
